Kansas regulates mourning and white-winged dove together under one season with fixed (non-shifting) calendar dates, published as "September 1-November 29 each year." Bag limit confirmed from KDWP's regulation-summary bag-limit table (see raw source): "Dove (Migratory): 15 per day (3x the daily limit in possession)" — not found in the first research pass (the full 2026-27 regulations summary book wasn't yet published then), now closed from the same already-captured raw file. Exotic dove (Eurasian collared/ringed turtle-dove) has no bag limit, per the same table — this record covers native mourning/white-winged dove only. HIP requirement is inferred from KDWP's falconry-season stamp list (which names "Kansas HIP Permit" as required for the migratory-bird combination that includes dove) plus the standard federal HIP framework; no single page gives a bare "dove hunters need HIP" sentence.
