Nebraska sits at the southern edge of gray (Hungarian) partridge's introduced North American range. BONO (NGPC's own ornithological reference) describes the species as occurring "as of 2022 primarily in a 'small area' in northeast and north-central Nebraska," with a secondary, locally rare population far to the west in the Panhandle.
