The species' legal hunting area (west of I-25) already covers essentially the entire habitat range CPW describes for dusky grouse, so there is no separate density-region map layered on top of it. CPW's own species account does draw one real, agency-stated distinction within that range, though: breeding-season density is best where “aspen sage areas” occur east of the Continental Divide, versus where “aspen and sagebrush combine with shrubs such as oakbrush, serviceberry and chokecherry” west of the Divide. Both halves of that gradient sit inside the existing west-of-I-25 legal boundary, so this is a habitat-quality distinction within the known range rather than a new sub-region. Independent hunting-press and Forest Service sources consistently name the same handful of high-country public-land blocks on the Western Slope half of that range as the state's best dusky grouse access.
