No self-sustaining wild population exists in New Hampshire, and chukar is not part of any NHFG public stocking program with a documented site geography. It is regulated jointly with quail and gray/Hungarian partridge under one identical season/bag line with no dedicated NHFG program. Independent hunting-press sourcing corroborates this directly: chukar in NH exist only near private hunting preserves running pen-raised releases for members (e.g. Timberdoodle's Club, Green Mountain Shooting Preserve), a pattern of scattered private operations rather than a mappable public release-site cluster.
