Nebraska runs a single bundled 'Dove' season/bag limit covering mourning, white-winged, and Eurasian collared-dove together (Eurasian collared-dove also separately huntable year-round outside this window, uncapped). Must be shot in flight. HIP registration required for all migratory bird hunters age 16+ in NE for the Sept. 1, 2026-July 31, 2027 cycle (confirmed via a July 20, 2026 NGPC press release republished by a local outlet).
No NE-specific standalone program; only the federal USFWS Mourning Dove Population Status report (Central Management Unit) applies, not yet published for 2026 as of 2026-08-19.
