New Hampshire pheasant stocking dates and sites for fall 2026, from NHFG's own list: 5 releases (3 on a Thu. or Fri.), 48 sites.
All of NHFG's 2026 stockings are done. The last was Thu. Oct. 22 or Fri. Oct. 23.
NHFG doesn't publish per-site counts. Statewide: 9,500 adult ring-necked pheasants will be purchased and released

Pheasant Stocking Program
Pheasant season will be closed until 2pm statewide on in-season stocking days. These closures will occur on Thursdays and Fridays, October 8-9, 15-16, and 22-23.
Participants in the Youth Pheasant Hunt Weekend September 26–27 must be aged 15 or younger and must be accompanied by a properly licensed adult aged 18 or older. Accompanying adults must possess a current hunting license and pheasant permit and are prohibited from carrying a firearm, bow and arrow, or crossbow that could otherwise lawfully be used for hunting.
Youth Pheasant do not require pheasant license. Accompanying adult does need license.
NH Fish and Game asks hunters to refrain from training dogs at release sites during the 2 days prior to October 1.
Be respectful and do not block gates or drive through farm fields as it could be a farmer’s hay crop.
NHFG stocks each site on either the Thursday or the Friday of each in-season week and doesn't say which, so each in-season release is shown as a Thursday-or-Friday span. Hunting is closed until 2 p.m. on both days either way.
sourceNHFG's site list says the sites not stocked for youth weekend get birds on Sept. 30. It doesn't say whether youth-weekend sites are stocked again before the Oct. 1 opener.

Four sites on older NHFG lists aren't stocked in 2026: Lamson Drive in Mont Vernon, Mile Hill Road in Belmont, Whig Hill Road in Strafford and Head Pond in Milan. The Milan site has moved to East Side River Road.
